New moon, new license

Today I sat in a dmv for a good part of the day to do my damndest to commit to my new life. I am now an on paper resident of Oregon with spiffy new plates to match!

September 1st coincidently is also the date I moved to Boston 11 years ago. Tonight was the new moon and I was blessed to join a group of women out on Sauvie Island where we sat in a circle and spoke of what is on our minds at the moment and what our intentions are going forward into this next season. This group was less than 15 of us the oldest woman being 61 years young and we all had a common ground. Not just the force that brought us here, but the reasons why we chose to move to Portland and having similar fears we need to overcome.  For me; it's the shield I need to lower.  I walk around very guarded and overall non-commital.  That is what I am trying to change.

I'm IN Portland!

Living in an amazing city, working a beautiful farm with an inspiring man.

I've got it made.

Ive got a fun easy job, with bar gigs on the side and a business to build on the farm.

These are my sights.  My vision is becoming clearer
